This expedition is a proposal dedicated to persons who would like to get to know better an unusual, mutually penetrating mix of Hinduism and Buddhism which is present in Nepal and also experience the charms of the mountain landscapes in the idyllic Pokhara Valley.
We will start our travel from sightseeing Kathmandu, a royal capital of Nepal. We will visit many unique sites as the city Royal Plaza – the Durbar Square, the largest in Nepal Hindu Pashupatinath Temple and the beautiful Boudhanath sanctuary – with the Buddhist stupa which is the most famous in the world. All those historical treasures were inscribed on the UNESCO’s World Heritage List. You will also have a chance to drop into the vibrant, tourist district of the town where you can stay in one of the numerous restaurants which serves local specialities and buy souvenirs, at the same occasion gaining an opportunity in the valuable art of bargaining with the vendors. We will also visit the Monkey Temple, from which there is a charming view on the Kathmandu Valley. Then we will go to Pokhara, a charming town which is a camp base of mountain wanderers, situated in the scenery of the Himalayan giants. You will be astonished by the Devi’s Falls, a beautiful Phewa Lake, the Bindabasani Temple, and additional experiences will be delivered by a panoramic view of the Himalayas seen from the Sarangkot Hill. We will do our best to ensure as many attractions offered by this region for you as it is possible to make you really feel that you found yourself in the magic place which cannot be equalled with any other in the world. After return from the Pokhara we will go to visit Nagarkot nad Bhaktapur nad from the Nagarkot we will see the panoramic and beautiful view of Himalayas as well.

Day 1: Flight to Kathmandu. Welcome to Nepal! Namaste!! After arrival we will transfer you to the hotel. You can relax after a trip or if you have energy- the same day visit Swayambhunath Temple, the name is famous as a Monkey Temple. The temple was built before the fifth century AD and is a place revered by the Nepalese. It is situated on a hill, overlooking a beautiful view of the city. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Kathmandu valley sightseeing. We will start the day after your breakfast, first visit Pashupatinath temple. It is one of the oldest Hindu temples of Nepal, which is a holy place for Hindus, to which many pilgrims. This great temple Shiwy consists of many complexes separate buildings, monuments, and in many places, meet Sadhu holy men traditionally painted faces. Then we will go to the shrine Bouddhanath, with the largest stupa in South Asia, which is the main center of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal. Then go to the central square of the city - Durbar Square. Is a former royal residence built in the twelfth century. You will see many unique buildings, including the temple of Kumari Bahal (House of the Living Goddess), where it can dostąpisz meeting with the same Kumari - the living embodiment of the goddess. Day 3: Early in the morning we leave the tourist bus to Pokhara. The journey will take about 6-7 hours, during two stops are provided for breakfast and lunch. When you reach Pokhara - accommodation in the hotel and a short break. Then we go for a walk around the picturesque Lake Fewa. Overnight in Pokhara.
Day 4: Discovering the Pokhara valley. Early morning we wake up and we will go Sarangkot for an exceptional view of the sunrise. It will be an opportunity to take pictures of this amazing spectacle of nature. Then we hit the road back to Pokhara. Optionally, you can take advantage of the extraordinary adventures of sky-that is paragliding, landing on Lake Phewa (optional extra charge). In Pokhara, after breakfast at the hotel, we will start exploring the city. The plan is to hike to a waterfall Davi's, Gupteshwor cave and Mahendra cave, temple Bindabasani international mountain museum and walk the shores of Lake Fewa.
Day 5: Back to Kathmandu and rest. After breakfast we set off tourist bus in the way back to Kathmandu. The journey will take about 6-7 hours, during transit stop for a meal twice. After returning to Kathmandu, you will be able to relax or yourself to go to the Thamel to buy souvenirs, the next day may not be enough time so better to do now ;) . Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 6: Sunrise from Nagarkot and Bhaktapur Durbar Square. We get up early in the morning before sunrise to catch the located 32 km away from Kathmandu, Nagarkot mountain town. From there we will see a beautiful, 360-degree panorama of the valley of Kathmandu and admire the stunning Himalayan peaks, including the highest - Mount Everest. Then we will go to Bhaktapur - the former capital, the third largest city in Nepal, mostly inhabited by Newars. The visit primarily Bhaktapur Bhaktapur Durbar Square, a remarkable place with unique wooden and stone architecture and numerous temples. We'll get to walk around the neighborhood and the charms of this extraordinary city, which still retained its medieval character. While walking, you probably do not try to time the famous royal Nepal yogurt! In the evening there will be gala dinner at a typical nepalese restaurant with traditional cuisine and Nepalese cultural program. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 7: Your journey comes to end today. It's time to return home and to think about your family. Do not forget to exchange e-mails with your travel companions! The representative Meroway Adventure will take you to the airport about three hours from the scheduled flight. On the way home you will have plenty of time to plan your next adventure....
